The Gitlax̱t’aamiks Village Government (GVG) exists to promote the health, safety, and well-being of our citizens through essential municipal and community services. Guided by the strategic direction of our Council and leadership, we collaborate across management and staff to ensure the betterment of New Aiyansh.

Our vision is a vibrant, self-sustaining community driven by prosperity and service excellence. This vision is realized through the hard work and determination of our dedicated staff.

Departmental Support
The Administration and Finance departments serve as the backbone of the organization. We provide accurate information, financial oversight, and timely guidance to all internal departments. Additionally, we are committed to keeping the community informed through consistent and transparent communication.
