Gitlaxt’aamiks Village Government put out a New Aiyansh Community Challenge 2021 in our Community Calendar that was delivered door-to-door on December 23, 2021.
The challenge is one year long and it is for residents of New Aiyansh. Each month, residents will complete the challenge and then upload an image to your Facebook account. The image must be hash-tagged #NewAiyanshCommunityChallenge2021. A winner will be selected once a month; the winner will receive a small gift and then their name will be placed in a draw for a grand prize.
The prize pool will consist of what GVG typically gives out at our annual meetings; therefore, you will see the prize pool consist of various gift cards, electronics, language books, and trips for two!
